Your drinks stay on your iPhone.
What Sipcurve stores
Sipcurve stores the drinks you log, your presets, your goals and your settings in a local database on your device. There is no account, and nothing is uploaded to servers operated by us. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
Apple Health
If you enable Apple Health integration, Sipcurve writes water and caffeine samples to the Health app and, if you choose, reads water and caffeine samples written by other apps. Health data is handled on your device only, is never sent to us or to any third party, and is never used for advertising or marketing. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. To validate purchases and unlock Pro features, Sipcurve uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, your purchase history for Sipcurve, and basic device information such as the app version and locale. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
Anonymous usage counts
To learn which features are useful, Sipcurve sends anonymous usage counts to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in the EU. A count records that something happened: that drinks were logged and whether from the app, a widget or Siri, that the Pro screen was shown or closed, that a trial or purchase started and for which plan, and how often and how long the app is used. It comes with basic technical details such as the app and iOS versions, the device model, language and region. It never includes drink names, amounts or caffeine, your Health data or anything that identifies you. The device identifier is replaced by a one-way hash on your iPhone before anything is sent, and the counts are not used for tracking or advertising. You can stop them at any time in Settings, under Privacy, by turning off "Share anonymous usage". See the TelemetryDeck privacy policy.
What we do not do
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no advertising identifiers.
- No advertising.
- No sale or sharing of personal data.
- No accounts, emails or passwords.
Notifications
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They do not involve any server.
